Would you like to perform?

Due to the size and appeal of Beachfest every year we receive countless calls, emails, drop-ins, inappropriate offers etc. from artists wanting to perform at Beachfest. Not only does this not work, but it tends to irritate staff and volunteers and put your name further down the list. In an effort to better choreograph this exercise please submit the following application which will be your official request. You will receive an email response acknowledging receipt of your application shortly after we receive it. This is not an agreement that you will be performing at Beachfest. You will then be sent notice whether you have been accepted to perform or not by July 1st 2011. Please be patient, and await your confirmation.

If you would like to be perform at Beachfest the best thing you can do is to keep pushing your craft, perform at other events, and submit the best content you can for our consideration. Our selection criteria is based on the content we receive, the reputation of the artist, the rest of the lineup and whether or not you have performed at last years show. There is limited time and space during the event and unfortunately we can not accommodate everyone’s performance aspirations.We try and be as fare as possible but unfortunately some will be disappointed. Don’t give up though, there will always be another Beachfest for you to try out again!
