Tug-o-War

Easily the highlight of the day, the tug of war takes place at 5:30 PM as the afternoon is winding down and the evening concert is about to start. It’s better than the cricket game, it’s Somerset vs. St. Georges and the rivalry is fierce! We do the men’s tug of war, the ladies and then a mixed team. And St. George’s fans be warned, Somerset has won EVERY year! Whachewgonnado?

Skate Park

The skate park is a new and exciting element of Beachfest. We have a half-pipe located centre beach for you to come shred! We’re trying to get some other ramps, so bring ya board and get ready to skate! To skate, you must fill out this form and if you’re under 18, a guardian must sign it. No form, no skating, so come prepared!

Fun Crown & Anchor

While we aren’t playing traditional crown & anchor, it’s still the game you love. To play, you receive 5 “Beachfest Dollars” at the ticket tent with every drink ticket you purchase. Then you take these over to the Crown & Anchor tent and test your luck! There are all sorts of prizes that you can claim with your winnings, including tshirts, bikinis and toys.

Wacky Races

Running, hula-hooping, limbo… there’s a whole pile of wacky races with awesome prizes for the winners! To participate, just pay attention to the stage and we’ll announce them as they begin!

Giant Water Slide

We’re bringing a mammoth water slide onto the beach that kids and adults alike can go plummeting down! It’s about to get a lot more wet at Beachfest ; ).
