Camping

The Chewstick Foundation will be camping on Horseshoe Bay from Wednesday until Friday.  For more information about camping, please contact the Department of Parks at 236-5902

Where to Camp

If you are camping on Horseshoe Bay, we request that you camp on the eastern end of the beach.  This allows the events of Beachfest to go on without having to peskily move you out of your spot.

Camping Tips

  • Please do not take up too much space when setting up your camp.  Lots of people want to come and enjoy the day.
  • Say hello to your neighbours to build a community feeling and provide greater security. Look after each other and if someone is feeling ill, get help.
  • Remember that tents are vulnerable to thieves, even when zipped up.  Do not leave any essential valuables in there.
  • Be inventive about hiding your money- don’t keep it all in one place.
  • Please help us to keep Bermuda beautiful by taking your tent, bottles and trash with you when you leave.
  • We will be selling food and drinks at very reasonable prices, so leave your coolers at home and let us do the work!
