About Beachfest

The Beachfest Emancipation Celebration is an all-day family event that is free and open to the public. This year’s celebration will satisfy all appetites and interests, featuring the best of Bermuda’s bands and DJs playing a diverse range of original music. During the day, there are fun sports and games to get the crowd alive and cheering for their favourites on the sand. This annual celebration of Youth, Arts, Culture and Community held on the world famous Horseshoe Bay Beach coincides with the first day of Cupmatch, Emancipation Day. It is in this spirit that we unite a community of varied ages, races and backgrounds to celebrate all of the things Bermuda has been known for since the beginning; beautiful scenery, friendly people, live music and righteous vibes! This is the major fundraiser and celebration held by The Chewstick Foundation, who strive year-long within the Bermudian community to promote the principles of Respect, Freedom, Love and Truth.
